    Eyeseen has some video mixing that he has done with his vci & ableton, for serato all you have to do is midi learn what you want to control with with SL-Video

    The video functionality in Ableton was put in there so you can score music to a movie - it wasnt put there to mix with.

    They do plan to put more effort into the video but the audio implementation takes priority at the moment.

    Yeah, serato video simply mixes just like you mix with regular serato.

    It's pretty straight forward. HOWEVER, you need to have the serato mixer. Otherwise it doesn't export the video.
    Monika.mhz - I do things. Also stuff.

    From what I recall, he had mentioned that the video mixing was done on Ableton, I guess I was wrong, sorry Bento.

    if by video mixing you mean something like this:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-LS4JM_7VQ
    (my first foray messin with video in ableton ^^;
    really you could pre-mix video... make a montage of sorts. put together some stuff you like that you think would go nice with your set.
    but u can't mix video live in ableton live. haha

    haha its really stupid, but i just wanted to jump in and see what you can do with video in ableton! and i didn't have any material to work with.
    i only have Live LE though, which doesn't have video support
    had to use a demo of the full version.

    so that's two marks off of Ableton Live LE:
    no slice to midi
    no vid support
