    Default volume fading in traktor

I am trying to map my original Xbox controller to traktor. I would like to use the analog sticks to operate the volume faders (left stick for deck A, right stick for B). However, I cannot make the faders sort of 'stay there'. Eg: when i pull down on deck A stick, the fader goes down but returns to the center as soon as i let go. Can i make it so that when i pull down from the center of the stick, it goes down proportionally but stays at that level when i let go.

Is this even possible? (BTW, i am using MultiControl to convert HID to MIDI, if that makes any difference)

    Cheers,
    Lexion

You need to map it as 'relative' in Traktor. Then play around with the settings a bit.

might be funny as hell to just sit there at a barstool with your laptop and an xbox controller and just play that way... when someone walks by hit a button that pulls up COD videos that makes it look like youre playing.

Sorry, another question: how can i assign a 'shift' button onto things? I would like to use it so that when you pull down on an analogue stick the vol. faders move down slowly, but when i push down on the stick and pull down at the same time, the fader moves down fast.

    Thanks in advance,
    Lexion
