theory did a great job explaining it..

check the link in my sig for my dub mix ive gotten alot of awesome feedback from it, i mix it a little differently then most people, i like to loop intros and gradually fade in to create kind of a new song, in fact theres times when i have completely mixed songs to where theres only 25-30 seconds of the original and the rest is a blend.

enjoy, dub is FUN to mix!

Dubheads love their drops! also they love double drops for instance, rusko mixed blinded by the lights (nero) with badman sound (doctor p) and they double dropped with the bass from blinded with the tune from badman and it was insane!

Backspins FTW! It's sad but a lot of Dubstep DJ's do that cheap trick... but I don't mind. I'm usually into the music so much I don't really judge the mixing skills as much as the song selection.

    Anyways, Go study these guys:

ok so im having some trouble and was wondering if someone could help,

i downloaded the following two songs of beatport to practice dubstep mixing.

    Yup (Original mix) - FS
Burning up - (Torqux & Twist) - Peo De Pitte

Ok so i come from a progressive backgroud so when mixing i like to do all my mixing in 32 bars, For Example...

Bringing in the song and bass changing on a 32 beat, Then bringing the Track out at another 32 with is normally when the track go's quite and into a buildup..

    - With dubstep and i meant to be doing this?
    - Are the sounds meant to clash kind of sounds like theres alot going on?
    - Do massive bass changes of bass change out leaving no bass and let the tracks build up then cut out the outro when the bass is about to come in?

Sorry today is my first day trying to mix it, also trying to write everything so someone else can understand is hard..

    help make my dubstep
