Maschine DRAG & DROP

Maschine allows you to drag & drop a pattern into audio or midi. Now when I drag midi into ableton no sounds play because its just midi notes. Now my question is how can i route maschine with ableton so that when I drag and drop i can edit it in ableton & also sound will come through?

I'd really appreciate some help on this, if at all possible. Any links to tutorials would be great, too.

I think there's a setting that makes it send MIDI or audio. I'm not in front of it right now but I'm pretty sure that's the way it works. I bet you can find it on YouTube in like 10 seconds. Saintjoe and knocksquared have great videos.

ya i know that u can change whether is sends audio or midi. I know how to do that. I wanna know how to route maschine and ableton together so when i drag and drop midi i can play the sounds and edit them on the fly

Are you using Maschine as a VST inside Abelton?

im using it as standalone to produce but i know i need to use it as a vst in ableton just need to know how i would go about setting it up after i already loaded the VST into ableton
