Anyone in the Los Angeles area looking to pick up a pair of TMA-1's? Turntable Lab LA off fairfax has them on sale for $160. Just picked up a pair today and thought I would let you guys know about the the current sale price.

after handling them (the 500's and the tma-1's) in a shop a few weeks ago.. i think the tma-1's will last WAY longer than the 500's.

Bought mine in South Africa for the equivalent of about $250 - worth every cent. At $160 I would buy another pair!

Gotta be honest, but yesterday was a day of grieve for my HDJ500.
The headband split open, since then all that enabled a great fit seems to have gone.

I'm gonna take mine back, see what can be done. Otherwise might buy new headphones.

was it right at the part where it connects the the middle?
donw worry about it coming off, the part that slides in is REALLLLLLLLYYYYY long.

when mine came like that i though the side would fall off. i took it to GC and the guy separated the 2 parts. i smacked myself for worrying i would brake them.
