Default Traktor equivalent/alternative to Serato Video SL

After watching the Joachim Garraud video on the main website I liked the visual aspect a lot but I aint changing to Serato just for Video SL and would like to know what other software could be used to achieve similar results. Of course Joachim Garraud have a whole team to do that but with I have on mind I can achive great results with far more simple stuff. I would like to sync Traktors midi clock to the visual software.

Has anyone tried this synced visuals with Traktor? What software you recommend/use? Bonus internets to video demostrations.

You could use live to fire video clips or (maybe use mrs pinky and max for the scratch part?) maybe try syncing it with resolume (I never tried but seems possible on paper)

This guy synced old Traktor with Resolume. Theres some extra editing on the video but the main use it's there. I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible without too many things running at once to limit errors.

This is close to what Im trying to do:

It's Mac only software, but VDMX is the ballz! More possibilities than you'll be able to utilize, However it can be used simply to achieve synched greatness.

I used Module8 a little bit, liked it a lot, just not as much as VDMX.

Why not control the videos with the MIDI-Messages you already have for Traktor?

If you tell me what MIDI-Notes you use, I'll program those in for you.

Sort of OT, but did any one else fill out NI's survey today?

It was centered around getting users' opinion on adding video capabilities to Traktor.

I of course answered that they should look into adding it.
