Default Kaoss Pad 3: Low volume from mic input

    Hi!

I just purchased a used Kaoss Pad 3 A very nice piece of gear!

But the input volume from the MIC input is very very low... I have the "Input volume" all at 100% and the "Trim" at 100%.. but then it gets noisy and bad quality.

I have a regular behringer mic:

I don't think that there is something wrong with the mic... Maybe there is something I need to do with the KP3?

Has anyone here had the same problem?

Why buy something, when you can build it yourself for the double cost?

you'd need a mic pre-amp first. the output from a mic is not the same as a line level signal.
