Yeah it does... Traktor is not "whats hot" on the west coast... anyway I can make my traktor look more smooth like serato and reflect my stylebenefits me me by making me answer less dumb questions and minimize the stigma... til I get my Serato box.. its just life.

My first reaction is screw what everyone else thinks, especially since if the people you are talking about know what sync is, they will probably think you're using it anyway if you're using Traktor, whether you can hide the sync button or not. If perception is that big of a deal, why not just spin vinyl or, if cost is an issue, cds?

You are correct. However, I think that if you rock a set with Traktor you can change peoples minds. If you have the floor on fire, constantly dancing, they'll stop caring. And now with Traktor 2s colored wave forms, I think it will help you more so as well.

imo the essential view of traktor is as minimal as it gets even over serato. Sync or no sync if whats coming out of the speakers is good enough most people won't care.
