Default Mixing Short tracks with vocals in Live set.

    Hi,

Hope you don't mind me asking this in this section, but it seems that evryone here has valuable skills that can help me.

I'm set to play as resident DJ at a small club.
    To bring about a change.

I have decided to do a layout of my sets.
The owner doesn't want R&B nor Hip Hop music to feature too much.

That leaves me with 80's to current hits - commercial & Remixes - then up to Light vocal trance and Electro.

I don't want to use the DJ mixes I have as they are all 5 to 6 minutes and longer. Perfect for what I did before.

I would like to use short songs say 3 to max 4 minute mixes, BUT
they are full of vocals. No clean parts to grab as a loop and mix into.

I'm not good with making patterns or loops so my question.
Are there any good loops that I can buy online to use as transitions.

I have about 5 days before my S4 arrives and I need to start.

    Any help please. Thank you

For what you're trying to do, I think Live would be a better platform to use.

    Ableton Live?

Mmm, that will be a new ball game to learn for me.

And loopmasters.com plus you can google free loops and probably find a whole bunch. Just remember you usually get what you pay for.
