Trouble with my Vestax Typhoon

I bought a Vestax Typhoon and pretty much when I try to use it at random moments doing just about anything the thing will start playing the music half time with lots of static and destortion. I'll then switch the Audio set up from ASIO fro typhoon to hi def device then back to ASIO for typhoon it's a temporary fix but then it happens agains sooner or later. plus if i'm mixing live, i can't afford to jump back and forth like that. I would appreciate any type of help with these matters Thank you

make sure your midi controller in/out ports are set to the typhoon and not 'all ports'
