yeh that's a reasonable deal, but the official mappings have changed a lot since that overlay was made and the firmware has been upgraded, so if you want to take full advantage you'd do well to get the newer overlay (bear in mind there may be an updated one soon for Traktor Pro 2) and a firmware upgrade kit. You may be able to find either or both of these on the buy and sell section of the forum.

do you know which firmware version this might have. I've read that all SE's came with 1.3. not sure if this is correct
That will most likely have 1.3, 1.4 is the latest. It improved the sensitivity of the jogwheels and pitch faders to 4x the original level.

Does anybody know the significance of the number on the back 87/100. Was this the first batch of SE arcades made?
no idea about batch.

email orders@djtechtools and ask them if they know which batch it came from.
yup- that was one of the first 100 arcades commercially made. The overlay is outdated, and does not match our latest mapping but that mapping was quite popular and still available. Email support@djtechtools.com to learn which one matches your controller. I would leave it as-is!
I would keep that overlay for it's vintage value!
