Default Suggestions: Cheap easy way to raise S4 to turntable height

Yo, just wondering if anyone here can offer any cheap convenient solutions for bumping the S4 to turntable height. I have the S4 case but my desk space is pushed to the limit without it so i'm looking for quick suggestions to bump the S4 up. Anything I can purchase at Home Depot or anything like that.

If you get two lengths of 2x4 that are cut to the length of the S4 you should be able to put it on top. Really, really simple.

I did a gig recently where I put all of my gear on cardboard boxes. Covered the boxes with black tablecloths, ran the cables in the gaps and under the boxes. It ended up looking pretty good as well as put everything at the right heights. Used a taller box for the laptop, etc.

Ended up being way sturdier than you'd think and looked pretty nifty. I'll be repeating that setup for the next 2 gigs I have booked.

I don't know what kind of box the S4 comes in , but maybe that will do the trick?

piece of thick foam... it can be useful too for gently placing the S4 on top of delicate items like mixers and turntables

+1 for foam. I have a bunch of different pieces of foam I take with me for my various controllers, depending on what I am using, and what I am putting it on.

with foam though, try not to go past 1.5 inch thick after that it tends to give in when you are pressing the buttons
