Well, I'm fairly new to Traktor and I have a really noob question. I am wondering how I would be able to move a folder that is on the desktop? Just need a little help.

what are you actually trying to do? move a normal folder on your desktop to somewhere else? isn't that pretty much operating system 101 and nothing to do with DJing lol?

No. I want to move a folder to my traktor playlist. but I tried doing that but it did not work. It has nothing to do with the basics of the computer.

Right that makes more sense lol. Just locate it in the 'explorer' section of the traktor browser and open the folder, then highlight all the tracks, right click and select 'import to collection'.
