i5 vrs i7 processor in a mac.

Hi lads,
Just a quick question.
Im about to buy a Macbook Pro and im just wondering what are the benefits of the i7 over the i5. Il be generally just using it for Djing. Sorry if this has been asked before but im just looking for a quick answer as i want to buy it tonight.

i7. With the i7 model, you get:

1.) Faster Clock Speed
2.) An extra MB of L3 Cache
3.) 2X the GDDR3 Graphics Memory (15 inch Models)

yeah wouldnt matter really. get a i5 and use the money elsewhere

Thanks guys placed an order for the i7 model. To be honest im a tech head and want the highest spec also got it for E1,000 brand new straight from apple. Il probably eventually use it for production ect.

In hindsight this thread is probably irrelevant as i had probably always would have went for the i7.
