you have a beast of a machine. If you dont want it can donate it to the DJ JesC, "Save a Laptop Foundation"

No laptop, sometimes I use my work's laptop, but that's just an old Dell Latitude D620.

If you're playing house or Drum & Bass stick with the Toshiba

If you're playing minimal or trance get a Mac

If you're playing hip-hop get an Emachine LOL

Your laptop is too nice for MIDI, the interpolation will glitch and you'll latency out the packet syn/ack. Even worse the packet scheduler will QoS inside of each MIDI announce and crash the #CC signal to noise ratio.

If those words are scary, then send me your laptop, and I'll send you an appropriate replacement.

    Monika.mhz - I do things. Also stuff.

i didn't want to start a new thread as my question is similar....
would a Samsung NC10 (Intel Atom N270 Processor) be sufficient to run Traktor Pro without any glitches?
it'll probably be upgraded to have 2 gig of RAM although i think it's FSB is 533.

anyone use this netbook or have a similar spec'd system?
