Default Crackling noise with Stealth Control

Hi guys little help, I have had my stealth control for around 3 months now, loving every minute of it, I have the simplest of set ups, running it straight into my laptop (dell inspiron core duo i5 running 64bit winds7) last couple of times I have played I get a crackling distortion coming through when I get to a peak of a mix or when I use the effects. I have tried re-mapping it and also have tried using other usb ports still get the same thing, any help would be appreciated...

your stealth control doesn't affect your sound.
    your SoundCard affects your sound.

do you have an external soundcard? or are you using one that's built into your computer?

what do you have your latency set to in your djing program?

I highly doubt the stealth has anything to do with it.

What soundcard and what software are you using?

I had a similar problem with my Total Control (very similar to the Stealth Control). The issue turned out to be latency. Its an easy fix - go into the audio settings of whatever program you are using and adjust it lower or higher, depending on where its set right now.

higher, never lower if you're having dropouts.
