Anybody know much about Numark Mixers?

I am in the market for a mixer, currently just use the gear at the club I work at. I am only first hand familiar with pioneer and native instruments gear. Have been looking at some basic mixers, all I really want from my mixer is volume faders, EQ knobs and microphone input. The entry to mid range Numark mixers are way cheaper than anything Pioneer has (have been looking at the DJM 400 or 350). Just would like to know if anyone has any experience or words of advise? Also if there are any other brands and models for someone on a budget.

yeah I have a Numark DXM06(same thing as the X6 just different color) that I've had for about a year now. pretty decent little mixer the only problem Ive had is that the AC Adapter broke last week.

Depends what your budget is mate, Allen & Heaths xone 22 is a great mixer but im not sure if it has a mic input..

Yup it does nice little mixer if your after two channels id go for it.

I have the Numark X1 USB. It's pretty solidly built with very nice sturdy knobs, and decent faders and crossfader. What's really cool about it it's that it has 2 usb inputs to which you can route the audio from your pc... dunno if you need that though but I think it's a cool feature to have on this digital days.

own a numark x9 ive found the three faders to be rather loose( i prefer a smooth glide) a bit of modding fixed that but.Also the EQ knobs are also not as smooth as i would like them to be.Having said all of that though 4 a budget entry level mixer it does what it says on the tin and the effects are not to shabby either love the tape echo

Ive seen they are hot an miss. But if u take care of them i bet they will be fine and last for a while. Im picking up a dmx06 today cuz i know a guy who beats that thing and it still works

As what has been said numarks are a great budget mixer i know a couple of lads using cm100's still.
To be fair cm100's have very little to go wrong in them (no high, mid, low control).

Baiscally numarks do what they say on the box and not much more

Id go for the xone 22 i have used one very nice for some reason though i dont like the look of the power supply:S

Numark X6 (updated from the DXM6) - Had it for 3 years now.
- Pretty good build. The effects are fun to mess with. The faders are a bit sketchy, but take care of it and it will last a while. Recommend switching out the Xfader (If your scratch heavy) with the D-Type from Numark, or innofader/Pro X-Fade (pricey for an upgrade, but worth it).


Vestax PMC 06 Pro (aka Mix Stick) - had for 6 years.
- Solid Vestax Build. Minimal controls, but well placed for scratching/Controllerist routines. Quite possibly one of my favorites from the Vestax Line. Left at a friends place, and forclosed on the property. . .I miss that lil sucker!

Xone:22 - played around with it for 2 years (old dj crew).
- Great mixer. 2nd to the Vestax 06 as one of my favorites. Kinda self explanatory here.
