    you don't need to split the output, as there are two master output pairs on it - one is TRS, one is RCA. What it lacks is independent volume level control, which can be achieved with a TC level pilot or a bunch of other similar devices.

    I agree that booth is not a big deal for what the S4 is ... if you do weddings and corporate events and want a SINGLE unit, the MC6000 is so perfect. If you want I/O versatility & S4 together, you need one more unit to handle the extra I/O - be it a live mixing board or a DJ mixer.
