    Default looking for a sampler...

i have the apc40 right now which is awesome i use that with traktor pro. the only limitation i run into is not having enough samples at my finger tips (ie vocal one shots, phrases, drum hits, other stuff i dont wanna have to find and load into a deck in traktor).

im looking for a simple midi sampler with a drum pad that can trigger samples. basically im just asking for a midi drum machine. looking to stay like in the $200 area. got any recommendations for good'uns? durability / reliability are my two biggest concerns.

also...do you use something similar to accomplish what i'm talking about here? what's your setup like regarding this?

used MPC500. wont drain resources from your computer, small, runs on batteries, easy to build libraries of samples, and integrates great with abletons drum rack
