Default Using youtube to promote your DJ'ing?

Hello, I just edited a quick video from a couple of nights ago into a little promo for myself for youtube. Has anyone else done this or have any suggestions? I thought maybe it would be a good thing to send to promoters alongside the usual pictures and mixes.

i do quite a bit (gotta a vid in my siggy if u wana check it out). the thing i like about it the most is that its a clear record that shows how you've improved/developed as a dj. also, when you video tape yourself djing, you notice whether your doing lots, or if your just standing there doing nothing, which is good motivation for improvement.

as for promoting, it can go both ways. if your doing some sick stuff, its a really good way to promote yourself. if your just standing there, pressing the occasional button, then i'd stay away from youtube.

Edit: About a week after i posted this video the first artist in the mix Vivian Jones subscribed to me and left a fantastic comment (Made my day - year).

So yes Youtube does work for promotional purposes.
