The word "Music" and the blue <hr>s are almost impossible to see on that background. I had to highlight it to read it.

I saw a few spelling and grammar problems as well but it's a nice foundation!!

I would go with a cleaner design, it's a little overloaded with the color variety in the homepage right now and maybe replace the header image with something else.
I'm obviously biased, but I would go with a website like word press or tumblr where you can update people on your shows. Tumblr are very elegant and have a super quick learning curve.
Thanks for all the comments guys! I'll make sure to incorporate them.
Padi, do you think changing the text color to white would make it less overloaded? (As opposed to changing the header)

Keep it simple without it being dull.
This is the kind of web design I like http://deejaypaddy.pdj.com/ (without the ad and bloat on the sides). I might be an extremist
Chose a color palette (and general design) that focuses the attention where needed. This site might help on that http://colorschemedesigner.com/
