    hi

think I'm going for the beatmasher

1st looking forward to messing with tunes
2nd it'll fit nicely next to my gear
3rd I reckon the mappings will be so crazy I don't think i'll miss one more knob
4th just cause i want one lol

It's not the gear. It's how you use it.

I want a kit :-O Am I being greedy? I just want to put it together myself using a classic midifighter I already own... guess something like that might be coming if I wait a while. Honestly though I think 349 is a great price for the fully built kit.

i think your thinking of the cue master version and the xxfader. They look the same but ones just sideways. "yup- they have the same controls, but in order to be used sideways- and in the manner designed, they must have totally different software programs installed so the buttons send out the right notes and the faders are oriented correctly. They also have separate mapping files so it's essentially a different model." -Ean Golden, taking from the comments section of the blog article.

The XX is primarily made to go alongside turntables as opposed others which are geared as stand alones or to go with other controllers.
