If I can't hear things in songs without $1400 headphones then I don't want to hear them.

I'm not going to take this video seriously as the reviewer wears the headphone backwards, does not provide the source or amplifier he used for this review..

Basically, I don't expect this dude to hear the difference between the HD800 or the HD555.

    Credibility -infinite.

Also, why are you surprised they weren't mentioned or posted here?
First of all they are HiFi headphones, not DJ related in any way.
Second is that they exist for about a year know and probably do have been mentioned, you just haven't searched that well.
Third, who here is gonna drop $1400 on a pair of headphones?

This. I know some people are serious audiophiles, and I'm not going to start posting pissing contest pictures of crazy expensive speaker setups, but really. Come one. $1400 would get you a perfectly reasonable small PA setup, then you can actually share the music.

Unless you live in a cave, I'm in complete agreement here.

Half the time when I'm jamming with my headphones on my wife gets pissed at me because I don't hear the dog whining and she has to take the dog out because I can't hear her either.

If I could hear everything through my headphones? It'd be one thing after another I'd have to do and cut my already limited time with music down by frequent interruptions lol.
