Kinda trips me out that any one could download any song ever made..but doesn't mean that they know the song or how to incorporate it in a mix.

that's all it basically comes down to.

A lot of it is generational compared to laziness and ignorance in my opinion.

DJ culture, is the rockstar culture of the current generation of teens. I doubt a majority of the teens getting into DJ'ing have ever even seen a record store let alone walked into one to find music.

The extent of seeing/touching vinyl is probably from finding a crate full of their dad's records in the garage.

EDIT: this is one of the major downsides of a faceless/ageless online community!!

    i think i love josh...

i have never refused anyone a helping hand (i am in nursing)...

but you need to help yourself...

it's music...it's your flavor...if you love it that much then you need to find and play what you love...other people can only point you...no one can tell you what you like...unless you listen to Deadmau5 and Tiesto...

(ooopps...did i say that or think that?)

i am kidding...i own a few of both of their records...early deadrat though...before he got all eletro pop house...

i think it might be the "video game generation"...there is no perfect game...there is no perfect set...there is no princess to save...there is no demon to kill...

like golf...there is no perfect round...

there is always work to do...
