I don't think I'm a DJ even though I mix. I dunno why but the notion of me owning that title seems absurd.

I don't really like the Dj label either. Most Dj's out there are the stereotypical, egotistical, dickhead wanker... And I dont fit that mold I'm sorry.
I don't consider myself a DJ for 2 reasons.
1. I'm not a "Disk" Jockey. I use controllers. (Digital Jockey mabye?)
2. I play my guitar more and get more gigs with my band than I do with my DJ "career"
So I really just consider myself a musician.

was kinda my point, maybe switch out 'dj' for 'mixes' then. i don't know, fuck it, stop looking at me!!!
also, whether you like the 'DJ' label or not, it's a handy reference term...
