You can scratch with DVS. JFB and Shiftee both use turntables and don't beatmatch.
I use battle. I'd like to try and learn to scratch but my left hand is so fucking shit every time I try it's either the worst ever fader control or the worst ever platter control on the left and I can't do even the most simple things. If my table was big enough I'm most likely just give up and go for standard, it'd be nice to have my wrist in a lazy low position while I beatmatch.

I'm sure I could get through it with practice. I dare say it's due to the fact I do nothing with my left hand other than type, wield a fork, dance over WASD and occasionally scratch my ass when my right hand is preoccupied with greater things.
