    Default Looking for style headphones.

So, i'm not a HUGE audiophile. I appreciate good sound and know all about good amps and drivers in headphones, but when I DJ I wan't something that looks good too.

I am currently using a pair of Grado SR80 from a few years ago, great shit, love the open ear design, doesnt feel like im closed in, def a big help with beatmatching.

so I ran into these babies

    http://www.i-mego.com/?page_id=1334

BUT they are impossible to find online. I really like how they look, and im in the market for a new pair of phones, especially ones that look badass. They have their retro ones that look cool. I was going to get a pair of Sleek by 50 but after that whole debacle looks like i will never see a pair.

So what do you guys think are some badass looking phones, Those white Dr. Dre phones are nice but half a grand for a pair? WTF

I had some HDJ-2000s but they broke pretty easily.

Just get some decent headphones and customize them. Dangle some furry dice from them if that's what you want.

I wish the Grados looked a tad bit cooler, because honestly, they are my favorite design ever.

Those marshalls look like they would suck for DJing is right! (grammar?)

That's what I said above the link. I don't think you'll be able to find retro looking headphones that are good for DJ'ing. That's not to say that you can't DJ with them, just that they won't be as good as DJ specific headphones.

my bad grammar is at fault here. i was agreeing with you. I am thinking of getting the grado 125is and just getting better cushions for it. You ever see those i-mego DJ ones anywhere?

AIAIAI TMA-1s look sleek and classic IMO.

    No, because they probably suck.

Are these retro enough for you?

    Sony MDR-7506

'cuz they're pretty good. But if you like the open back thing, you won't find me recommending any…they kind of suck for actually DJing in clubs…they don't isolate well enough.

Maybe sound rather than looks should be your priority - that's why I went with the tma-1's. The fact that they so damn stylish IS a nice bonus though.
    356 reasons why
