    Default MacBook Pro for S4

Hi guys I am going to buy traktor s4 and macbook pro. I was thinking about buying this MacBook Pro 15" Quad-Core i7 2.0GHz , but I heard that there are some issues with quad core processors and s4/traktor pro 2. Is this true and is this mbp good enough to run traktor pro 2 and s4 with all 4 decks and effects without any problems?

    Thanks in advance!

    That'll be more than fine.

It'll be fine although Traktor doesn't utilize the quad core.

How is that a problem with Traktor and the computer?

I also made topic on NI forum, and they told that only problem with mbp 2011 is heating issue and they think it is fixed, so I am asking you if anyone had those heating issues and how to solve it?

I think there was a minor bug with them that got fixed with an update about a week after release.

    Spot on,

if your worried though, pop into an Apple store or Authorised Service Provider and get them to run the "CoolSystem" diagnostic tool on it for peace of mind

Just to clarify this was an Apple issue not an NI issue. It sounds like Apple fixed the issue promptly though.
