MacBook Pro charging

Hi guys again, i just bought mbp 2.0 ghz 2011 and I am new to mbps and laptops, so I am asking when should i use power supply, when should I charge macbook, because seller told me that i should have my power supply all the time because mbp has it's own recharging time and I am a little bit confused could you explain it to me what should I do?

What I do is this:
I use my mac without the power cord untill the battery level drops below 5%-7% (You can enable the percentage by clicking the battery icon in the top right conrner, click on show, then hit Percentage)

Then I plug it in and let it charge completely, without taking it out.

I think this is the best way to preserve the mac's battery life.

Always play with your AC plugged.

If you are DJing, use the power supply.

Anything else is up to you.

But, don't keep the laptop plugged in all the time. You will need to use the battery a few times a month and when you do, drain the battery fully, at least once a month.
