    Default Mixers for Traktor 2?

    Good Afternoon NI Forum,

I'ts actually my first time in here so forgive me if this is posted into the wrong forum section.

Well I decided to ask you specialists as I really can't help myself anymore.

I have Traktor Pro 2 on my MacBook Pro (Mac OS) and have two Denon DN SC2000's mapped correctly to it, fully working, everything perfect.
Now the thing is, I need a Mixer, a mixer that can control Traktor 2 ofc. Midi is what you call that I think...
Well I've been looking through the internet and the forums since ages but really can't understand what mixers can be connected to what...
Something with an Interface and Soundcards and then you can connect these mixers to Traktor but some USB Mixers can not be used on it.. Im really lost so I have to ask you guys to help me out!

Could you guys list me some Mixers that FULLY control Traktor 2...

    -Preferably under 250 euros/220 pounds.
    -4 Channel
    -Highs, Mids, Lows.
    -Traktor 2 suitable

    Regards and thanks,

    Nico

You could get a mixer style midi controller like an m audio x-session pro and then mix internally with a USB sound card like a native instuments audio 2 DJ, or get an actual hardware mixer such as the Behringer DDM4000 and mix externally. For that you'd need a bigger sound card to use 4 channels though, like an Audio 8 DJ, and then you're looking at quite a lot of money.

Lets say I would buy the DDM4000 how much additional money would I have to spend to get it set up with my MacBook?

No only wrong forum, but wrong website. This is DJ Tech Tools. That's okay though we welcome you with open arms and I moved the thread to the correct forum.

You might be able to get a use Audio 4 for around $150 if you can find one. The upgraded card is the Audio 6 and is $199 I believe.

however, the audio 4 will only give you 2 decks.

Hehe, the number of times I've made that mistake. MrPopinJay always seems to be there and put me right. 2 aggregate Audio 2 DJs is a relatively inexpensive way to do it.

    '4 out' means 4 mono channels, ie 2 stereos = 2 decks.
It's the same as the audio 4 but lower quality.
