    Default Midifighter questions?!

    Hi guys, I have a vestax typhoon traktor pro 2 and I'm looking to buy a midifighter or possible akai 1Pd8 (most likey the midi fighter the instant gratifaction mapping is looks great) any way the typhoon has a built in souncard so do I need to just plug and play and it wont matter or do I need to get an exsternal soundcard or is there a way to get it too work through the typhoon. Also I have read the article about the usb cords but still do I need one If I have ports

    all you need is 1 sound card.

    just plug in the MF and you should be good to go.

    yep, the MF plugs into the USB on your computer and the sound comes out of the typhoon.

    Hey the typoon is a 2 deck controller.... do I need another sound card to use 4 decks?

    if u need 4 sound outputs on 4 channels, then yes.

    Unless you have external equipment no. There should be a mapping out there that has a shift function to let you use the controller for decks C and D. that means when you press whatever button is assigned to shift everything controls different parameters.
