    Default Recording 4 Decks with DJM900 & TSP2?

    Hi All,

I would like to record my mix from Traktor - using all 4 decks. Is this possible with the djm 900? From what i've seen and tried it seems you have to designate a channel on the mixer as the 'mix out' channel - thus leaving you with only 3 channels/decks to mix with???

I can't for the life of me work out how this is done.

Any help and ideas would really be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Tom

Connect the record or booth out to channel C or D input on your Audio8 (or whatever box). The ins/outs work independently so you can still use four channels out and record on one of the ins.

    This.

you don't need a channel on the mixer. Just any out (booth, rec, master)from the mixer and any available IN (C & D are recommended) on the card.

I just use those as A/B have multicores attached.

i've got it sorted now, thanks guys - i just had to assign deck a in the traktor prefs/record settings as the master record channel - then in the djm900 settings utility change deck a to REC OUT - now i got all 4 decks recording!

Trying to accomplish the same thing. Do you need an audio interface with inputs, or can I use the Audio2 with only outputs and get the same result?

You need inputs to use an external card.

Is there a way around this without having to buy the A6? Heard of routing from Booth or Record out into the PC, then using Audacity, but haven't had any luck with that

Basically want to record externally but with the A2 if possible...
    Thanks!

Did you set the input in Audacity to line in?
