    Default Maya 44

Hey, I was recently told by another forum member to go with the MAYA44 for a few different reasons mainly because of my budget and needs at the moment. But it looks a little bit ugly, and would not fit in with my setup so I'm wondering if there is another usb soundcard that I can get which looks a little nicer and costs around $100

There is an article on this site for sound cards under $200. I know it's more than your budget, but, well, it's somethingyou should look at. If you skimp on the interface... well, everything could suffer.

And cause it's ugly? It's a sound card.

Hide it under your laptop-stand That's what I do. For the price of a Maya, there are (unfortunately) no cards comparing with the quantity of line-ins/-outs and the good quality (low latency). And the Maya comes with a ridiculous long USB-Cord, so you can hide it- I guess
