Default Suggestions for controller under $250

    Hey guys,

I'm looking for a Traktor Controller which can control two decks and has at least 3-4 cue points available without out shift modifiers and can be used with an external club mixer but at the same time has to be portable enough to fit into a backpack. Any suggestions?

MIDI Fighter Classic. There are a variety of mappings that can do what you're looking for. Check the MIDI Fighter forum. There's a sticky thread with a lot of the mappings. I have a modified version of the Instant Gratification mapping that does exactly what you're looking for.

keep in mind that in the under 250 range youll probably need a sound card as well.

Thanks guys, I already have an audio 4 dj so soundcard is not needed. Just curious...will a Kontrol X1 do the trick too?

Well I'm not too familiar with the X1. Does it control both decks split down the middle? Or does it have 2 layers 1 for deck A and another for deck B?
