Traktor SP2 - Tempo and sync help

Ok I just started using TSP2 and there is one annoying thing that I can't seem to do that I was able to do in TSP.

When in vinyl relative mode I can't change the tempo through the software. I was previously able to do this and it was very helpful. I also have a key on my keyboard to reset the tempo to 0. This also does not work in relative mode.

Is there a setting somewhere to make it function the way it did in TSP?

Well I only messed up once. I went from house to Lauren Hill - Lost ones and it was playing super fast. everyone just stopped dancing a stared at me.
