I would have one booth for every possible set up. When the DJ told me what they wanted their booth would rise up out of the floor with fireballs and lazers shooting to the sky. .

There was a 1620 on ebay a few months ago that went for $350. I almost got it.

Damn, you should've jumped on that deal!!

htfr.com sell the 1620LE, but it's a whopping 1,200£. And then you'd still have to buy an isolator I guess. But hell, I'd love to try out a rotary mixer one day...

I think I'd go with the crowd on the general booth must haves but I'd have a two meter long empty desk with two huge hd monitor screens in front of it, angled up, one for ableton, one for traktor, and just one installed bullet-proof usb hub, I'm thinking 10ports.

BYO-midi controls booth, forward thinking hawtin types only. Weird hair optional.

I'd go with a Urei rotary mixer with the outboard 3 band eq add-on. Given that most DJs are playing MP3s these days routing the signal through a mixer such as the Urei will add back the warmth digital tracks are missing these days.

However, the Xone 62 or 92 would be more practical and widely accepted by various DJs.. but then I'd route the signal through a vintage pre-amp before hitting the rest of the processing chain.
