No sound no play button function suddenly

so i was watching some youtube videos and all my sound was going through my s4 just fine, i opened up traktor load a track and press play, and it does not play the track, the button is not even working, my cue points still work but no sound is coming out of the s4, my leds on my main output are not even lighting up, so i close traktor open itunes and no there is no sound being routed through my s4.... WTF?

sound through my macbook works fine when i unplug the usb cable to the s4, so its not my computer

im running traktor s4 (not traktor 2, it pissed me off when i installed it so i havent been using it yet) and a macbook.... reinstalled the 1.0.1 update for s4, restore factory defaults in traktor... rebooted rebooted, rebooted and still nothing,

any help?
