Default computer speakers that can host parties

gonna use these bad boys to do work

theyre beast. each satellite has a wider frequency response than KRK monitors and the subwoofer could literally shake the house. It has its own built in amp at peak 200 watts so I only set these babies volume control at only 25%-50% or else i'll get evicted. Klipsch is a well respected brand according to many audiophiles and theyre forums I visited to look into these.

all for only 200$. check it

Just because it has the specs doesn't necessarily mean it sounds good.

    They might sound great.

I just don't think you could 'host a party' with them. And I stick to my 2.1 monitor set up all day.

to be fair Klipsch does have a reasonable reputation. I'm quite prepared to believe that these will give you a nice sound, but it won't be as accurate as a pair of real monitors. Having said that, monitor accuracy isn't necessarily what you're after at a house party.
