Hey, I just blew out my Skull Candies making hardstyle and I'm really low on cash, so what would be some fairly priced headphones that would work well as My Djing cans(or IE) and my prodction monitors

if you have $150 to spend HFI 580's work pretty well. Pretty good noise cancellation and great sound.
Sony MDR-7506 = $99
Sennheiser 280 Pro = $150
Ultrasone X1 = forgot the pricing. . .
Stay with studio ones, as some Dj ones may not give the best representation for gigs/studio accuracy.
There are so much more out there. . .but SkullCandies?

Hey don't hate, Ive been using skull candies since I've started DJing, I had the Mix master Mike ones for Djing and then Hesh for production. they have awesome cancellation and have good sound to them

Not hating at all. This is my own experience. I started on Sony MDR V500's. . The cans were too small, so I went bigger.
I've lumped the Skull Canies into the "designer" side of the market. . .
Dre Beats = Overpriced for what they are. Sound Quality is actually good, but the price is for the name. (Studio/Pro model)
Arial7 = Knock-off for Sony MDR-V700's. Sound is okay at best.
Skull Candies = World renown. . .to break. Cheap Plastic. Sound is good for normal headphones. . .not for DJing by any means. Studio use is another monster all together.
ReLoop = Sound quality is decent, but over time, they eventually break. they just make different colors (like the Arial7) to fit your gear/personality.

I've tried all those and I find next to the overlypriced beats , Skull cnadies have the best quality. and This last pair is the oonly pair I've ever broken and trust me, I abused those fuckers to death I'm looking to possibly get some Pioneer HDJ500s, are those anygood?

HDJ500 are real good.
For the Price, and the sound, Excellent. . .My only regret is they're not foldable, as I cary around a backpack with my laptop and SSL box. Build is more durable than the 500's and the 1000's. The single swivel for the one side is a bit wierd to me, but works for my Djing style and mixing.

Alright Ithink I'll go get some of those then. I usually never take my head phones off so the folding thing isnt a problem for me , thanks for the advice

Those are excellent as well, but I think he's trying to find a balance between DJ/Studio monitors for price and performance. But those Beyerdynamics are GREAT for a studio (been using them at an in-house studio), but traveling with em is a bit much for DJing for the price.
