Default Numark mixtrack pro and launchpad

Hi guys. I have bought the mixtrack pro and am thinking of getting the launchpad to use as a midifighter and hot cues. How do i connect?? The mixtrack pro has it's own sound card. But the launchpad doesn't so I do I connect them both??

They both connect to your computer via USB and have nothing directly to do with each other. You only need one sound card, that's the interface between your computer and your speakers and headphones.

So what your saying is I can hook up the launchpad to my lappy via USB and both mixtrack pro and launchpad will sound ok.

Yes, you hook them both up via USB. "Sound OK" doesn't really mean much in this case, since they are both controllers so they'll sound like whatever you map them to do lol.

It's usually a good idea to use the big import button for a new controller, but make sure you use the export button to back up your other mappings first.

Cheers pal. Iv lost interest with the VCI se and arcade. A member is selling an awesome one now on eBay. I just lost interest with lack of TSI support. Twitch looks great but again will there be a rocking TSI?? I got the mixtrack pro because someone had developed an awesome TSI that has controll over samples and loop recorder. I know it's plasticy etc but I'm not a pro, it's just for fun. And it's cheap as chips. I thought the launchpad will be a great companion as someone has developed a rocking TSI for that too with midi fighter instant grat capabilities. Should be fun
