    Default VCI 100 Standalone Mixer

    so i plugged i my vci and turned it on from the back and i noticed it had a dc input and i was wondering can it be a standalone mixer?

    how? it has not audio inputs or outputs

    i saw a dc 9V Adaptor to be used instead of usb powered and i thought it coud be bus powered to be used as a standalone mixer

    it cannot, the vci-100 is a mere controller.

    Yeah you prevent drawing too much power from your usb hub for example.
