    Default Good deal?

I went into my local Guitar Center today and found they had a used DJM-800 for sale that was missing the faders, pretty much all the knobs and the level/depth effect knob was sticking straight up out of the mixer. It was not on so I didn't get a chance to check the sound quality and if the internals were in good shape...wish I took a pic of it now.

The manager quoted me at $1099 as is and I was wondering if this was a good deal or is it too high? I understand that parts are easy to come by but I'm sure most people would look at the mixer and wouldn't give it the time of day given its appearance so would it be a good idea to see if the manager could lower it even further or should I just snatch it up as a screaming deal?

You can get a brand new DJM-800 for $1100.

    So offer him $550-600 imo.

Also, does anyone know of reputable people/places that I could bring/send it to that could look through it and make sure it's in tip-top condition and replace the parts that need to be replaced?
