    Default Sound file editing

I've got quite a large music library on my itunes and have noticed when importing some tracks into traktor there is a period of silence at the beginning and end.
Should I edit these files to remove the silence?
I know I could set a load marker but don't really want to 'waste' my cue point count. (please see my previous post about beatgrid markers)

What do others do about this?
I'm thinkiong of using audacity to do this as it seems like a quality piece of software and is free.
I'm certainly not suggesting that I do this for all my tracks as I'd be at it for a looooong time.

    Any advice would be great
    cheers

you have basicly infinite ammount of cuepoints, just make the load marker cue 9 or above and you wont have any problems with it suing up one of your percious valuable cue points.
