I know it's got aux in...

Can I plug in a turntable? Is there a converter?

Surely an aux in will be expecting a line level signal?

Some TTs give out a line level, but not many ...

Most TTs only give out a phono level signal and need a preamp to get up to line. Some TTs (like Stantons) are switchable between phono and line level

Yup, I think they're just known as a phono preamp - needs to be an active box, but they're pretty common.
