S4 Or NS6? Urgent!

Hi guys,

Some luck came upon me (birthday)!


Long story short, lots of monetary presents later, I have enough to either buy an S4, or an NS6 for 20 bucks more with price matching and GuitarCenter Promos...


Which one should I get?
I'm going there in about 3 hours so it would be helpful!

I'm pro-Numark, so I vote NS6.
I've seen too many forum post which describe the S4 as problematic and not the ideal controller.
I Own a Mixdexk from Numark and love it, the NS6 should be great!

depends on if you like traktor or serato and if you plan on playing in a club

the ns6/ns7 are cool but they're too big for most club setups

The s4 is only glitchy because people mess with it, I've never had problems with mine.

Numark sucks, and they have horrible customer service if it were to break.

i sent in my old Numark Mixdeck for warranty replacement.. they said 4 weeks. they've had it for 3 months. i ended up having to send a strongly worded email to the head of their warranty department to get a response (since they don't answer their damned phones) and he replied that he was very sorry and that he authorized for a replacement and they are out of stock blahblahblah, long story short: i had to be an ass (in an acceptable way) to get anything done and its too much of a hassle. they have lost all my business.

Shop smart, don't rush in to get something you might regret later. There isn't really any info on what is your mixing style is, if you already own any gear or if you have a Traktor/Serato preference so it narrows down to what WE would get.

That being said: I'm a happy S4 owner.

Yea myd ol mixtrack has had way more problems than my s4 personally..

I would definitely say s4 over ns6 but the ns7 is a nifty piece of gear.

Maybe get an X5 and two v7's?

Yes, hard to beat the Traktor/S4 integration with any other solutions.

Forget it... I bought the ns6, i absolutely hated the s4 jogs
