Default [Traktor 2] Traktor Kontrol X1 - Midi Mode Problem

    So, here's the deal:

I'm currently working on a Traktor 2 mapping for my X1. I have it in midi mode and I'm trying to map the "Right Size" knob (CC 27/CC 71) to "Loop Size". I was able to map it fine on note CC 27, but when I try to map the same function to the same knob in shift mode (CC 71) it produces erratic behavior. I'm using the exact same settings between the two modes.

    Controller Manager Settings:
    Type of Controller: Encoder
    Interaction Mode: Relative
    Enc.-Mode: 3Fh/41h
    Rotary Sensitivity: 11%
    Rotary Acceleration: 1%

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Default

So, I've found a work around to my problem.

It the NI Controller Editor I changed the control type from "Control Change" to "Note", and Note Down to 0 and Note Up to 1. Then I just mapped the up and down motion of the knob to Button Inc, and Button Dec respectively.

I'm sure it's not the most elegant solution, and sharing my setup (which I would like to do), would be pretty pointless considering the workaround. Any other solutions would be nice.
