yea i got ableton
but i was refering to VDJ not being able to store loops
I'll be honest. I'm not even completely sure what VDJ is...
But if you use a program like audacity to split the sample up into little bits and then load each sample into Ableton it should do the trick... (I know almost nothing about Ableton, I'm a fiend for FL)

VDJ = Virtual DJ

Virtual DJ
just another DVS program
its pretty good if you only want to mix 2 decks
or a cheap DVS solution to Serato
yea that is true
when i originally thought of it i thought about using it in Traktor Pro
which i will soon be purchasing
on a side note - Is it still possible to buy Traktor 3???
What wrong with using Traktor for DVS anyway ?
Why does everyone associate Serato with DVS and not Traktor ? its really weird...
Infact traktor as far as DVS goes is the better of the two systems.
i wouldnt have a clue
never used one
i only used Serato as my example because as you said "everyone associates Serato with DVS"
but as with anything Bento it all comes down to preference (and advertising i guess), what may be perfect for me doesnt tickle your fancy what-so-ever.
Totally subjective
oops getting off topic !
haha whoops...
but anyway if someone tries this and gets it to work i would be very interested in hearing the results
