what are some good cheap turntables i can use temporary for 2-4 yrs to practice with until i can afford the technics 1200

If you really want techs, just get them straight away. You can find them on ebay for very reasonable prices. Ebay seems to have cooled from the "1200's are no longer made" price gouging.
