Default Interesting interview with Guy Gerber about his album he's making with P.Diddy

Just finished reading this and am a bit curious to see what he and Diddy have come up with in the studio.

One of my favourite parts of the interview,

Having spent time with Diddy, can you tell me how much he knows about techno? Who does he like?

Well he doesn’t know the names but he can tell the difference between commercial shit and real raw underground beats. He has liked this music for 10 years and he is happy that it’s getting bigger now in the US but he wants to show people that it can be different to these cheesy trance productions that are ruling the charts now.

Should be an interesting album none the less and hopefully more people will pick up on it instead of trying to go the David Guetta /Black Eye Pea's route!

Link to the interview for those interested,

Judging by his liveset (great in the summertime) and the quality releases on his Supplement Facts label, Gerber seems to know what he's doing. Respect to the guy (no pun intended), curious how this turns out.

The couple of soundcloud links in the interview with diddy in them didn't sound bad at all.

Maybe Diddy will finally break into the underground scene in a big way. I know he tried doing some stuff with Deep Dish and Felix da Housecat that never panned out but this might just be it.

Didn't diddy also make an album with DJ Hell about 10 years ago? Never heard a song of it though.
