not my cup of tea really... but im an all round dj that gets bombed with requests from all sorts of musical angles.. keen to hear any constructive criticism in regards to mixing this type of genre... really appreciate all the feedback ive had from previous mixes...

so here is my top 40 upbeat (120- 133 bpm) 20 minute mix.. for anyone thats interested...

Intro was pretty strange. Not something you would play for the teenyboppers for sure haha.

for sure bro... it was more the irony and my dry sense of humour.. should also point out this mix was inspired by sitting on the train comin home from work... that intro was taking from a youtube clip recorded on a train... and the train is also the only place i hear top 40... blaring out all the school kids ipods

Teenyboppers mix? the tracks are all pretty old, kids around here dont listen to anything like this, they do in your area? This to me would be for a 40th or something like that.
    Cheers, Maxy.

Hi again, forgot to mention, nice mixing skills and flow. This music is not my cup of tea either but I think DJ's should play for the crowd and if this these tracks are what they want then this is a good mix.
    Cheers, Maxy.

cheers mate.. yeah believe or not.. this is straight from my most requested crate.. to be honest i love all music but to make it a bit more enjoyable i like to throw in a few oldies in there to keep me interested...
ive jus started dj'ing again after 10 years in the wilderness.... strictly hiphop rap rnb back then... but with age ive learnt to enjoy everything.. ive noticed that this site is primarily uptempo dance 130ish which i have never really mixed before.. so i take great interest and knowledge from this site...
